• Our products are covered by a six (6) month manufacturer’s warranty, only where the damage is due to a proven manufacturing defect. Lime & Co reserves the right to inspect any damage before having any obligation under its limited warranty.

    Shipping
    We ship worldwide. Shipping costs depend on location and items, quoted separately. Local delivery is free, and pickup is available at our studio (Unit 4/58 Newton Street, Mount Maunganui). Freight depot collection and private freight services are also available.

    Ensure your address is correct. Additional fees apply for unsuccessful deliveries. You’ll be notified once your order is ready and dispatched.

    We recommend the use of plant based cleaners for your everyday cleaning. PH neutral cleaner can also be used, vinegar should be diluted.

    Do not use harsh abrasive cleaners as this can damage or degrade your furniture surface.

    DEFINITIONS

    “Buyer”, “Customer”, “Client”, “You” means the person(s), firm or company who agrees to purchase the good(‘s) from the seller. “Seller”, “We”, “Our, “Lime&Co” means Lime and Co Studio Limited.

    “Item”, “Product”, “Design”, “Piece”, “Order”, “Furniture” means all/any goods/services purchased
    by the buyer from Lime and Co Studio Ltd.

    “Bespoke” means items specifically made to a buyer’s specification and not available to purchase
    directly from the website (including “ In Stock Items” designs in sizes not available on the website).

    “In Stock Items” means items available to purchase directly via the website.

    “Website” means the website and any other URL’s that relate to www.limeandco.nz

    MATERIALS AND FINISHES

    By the nature of the materials we use and the handmade nature of our manufacturing process, our pieces could contain any/all of the following characterful/natural traits:

    • Small ‘chip out’, ‘tear out’, or marks from the manufacturing processes in the Workshop
    • Knots/cracks/shakes
    • Natural colour variation

    These should be expected within each piece and we cannot offer refunds, reimbursements, discounts or compensation for such features. Please contact us if you are unsure on the terms or what to expect with the above.

    WARRANTY

    In the unlikely event that a problem may arise with an item, Lime&Co will arrange for a repair or a replacement. All orders are covered by a 6 month warranty from the date that the item is delivered. The warranty covers the buyer against defective materials and workmanship. All warranty claims must be sent in writing to Lime&Co with photographic evidence of the defect within the warranty period (hello@limeandco.nz).

    Lime&Co will assess all claims, check if the claim falls under the terms of the warranty and determine if the piece needs repairing or replacing: Should the item need repairing, Lime&Co will organise collection of the item as it needs to be returned back to the workshop for repair.

    Should the item need replacing, the defective product will be collected when the replacement is delivered.

    We will aim to offer all repairs and replacements as soon as reasonably possible. Items returned to our workshop for repair or replacements will usually require 3-4 weeks with our workshop team (subject to stock availability and the design of the item). Delivery will then be arranged shortly after this, typically within 4-6 weeks.

    Our warranty does not cover defects or damage that arise as a result of:

    • Fair wear and tear
    • Misuse (including failure to follow information provided in the Care Guide,
    written/oral instructions regarding the care/use/storage of the item by Lime&Co.)
    • Damage caused by moving, negligence or willful damage
    • Problems as a result of the environment the item has been stored in
    • Natural movement of any natural material used
    • Bespoke items that were not prototyped or tested

    Natural variation in colour/grain and natural features are not considered defects.

    We always recommend using coasters and placemats to protect the surface of the item(s). Damage as a result of wet/damp or hot products being placed directly on the surface of an item would be considered a result of misuse. The customer would be responsible for any costs involved in the repair.

    If any alterations have been made by a person/company not endorsed categorically by Lime&Co, the warranty will be deemed void

    DELIVERY & SHIPPING

    Delivery costs will be quoted and invoiced separately at the time of order. Delivery times will be arranged with you once your order is completed. It the buyer’s responsibility to ensure that the delivery address is correct.

    The delivery fee covers a single delivery at ground level with easy access during normal weekday business hours. We ask that a trusted person is on site to check and sign for the delivery.

    Deliveries that cannot take place due to access limitations are the responsibility of the buyer. In the event that delivery cannot take place, a suitable time for re-delivery will be arranged, in addition to the fee for the unsuccessful delivery, additional fees will apply for return to warehouse, storage and re-delivery. In the event that delivery is not possible due to access limitations, the goods will be taken to storage until the buyer advises us of their intent for the goods.

    Please insure to inspect your order on delivery. If damage has occurred in shipping all packaging must be retained by receiver. Failure to do so may invalidate any claim. Please contact us at hello@limeandco.nz with your order details and photos of the damage.
    Damages must be documented and reported within 3 business of receipt. Lime&Co is not responsible for repair or replacement of damages reported after this time.

    REFUND, RETURNS AND ALTERATIONS

    As we are a small company offering bespoke, made to order products. We cannot accept cancellations or offer a full refund on any orders after 14 days of the order being placed or for an item(s) that has already been posted/delivered. Please ensure all details are correct before placing your order, and that you are happy with all design decisions and materials.

    Orders for archetypal designs (products available to purchase directly from the website) can be cancelled, partially refunded and returned after 14 days at the discretion of Lime&Co. Requests to do so must be made in writing. All cancelations or returns will be subject to a 20% return fee, plus the cost of delivery (if already booked and/or delivered), plus any other reasonable costs accrued by Lime&Co.

    Bespoke pieces are non-refundable after 14 days of the ordering being placed.

    Once an order has been placed, the cost of any alterations, administrative costs, and additional/updated design drawings will be charged to the customer. Lime&Co can not be held responsible for any resulting delays.

    We endeavour to always send out quality products, however mistakes can occasionally happen. Should you receive a faulty or damaged item(s) you should notify the seller as soon as reasonably possible. The buyer should provide a detailed description in writing, with photographs and/or videos of any area(s) that are damaged/defective within 7 days of receiving the item(s). Provided evidence is received within the time frame, Lime&Co will assess the fault and arrange to repair or replace the item(s) as soon as reasonably possible.

    In the case of faulty/damaged goods, or an incorrect order being received, we will ensure all necessary steps are taken to provide you with the correct item(s), however we cannot offer any refunds, reimbursements, discounts or compensation as a result.

    We cannot offer refunds, reimbursements, discounts or compensation for orders delayed by the following:

    • Any act of nature (such as a natural disaster, flooding, snow etc)

    • Pandemic/War/Other Disaster.

    • Government enforced restrictions/laws.

    • Delivery delays (including those related to stock/material supply).

    • Where a person would be at risk of harm
